The petition was handed in to the Secretary of State’s Department last Friday (21st September) by Kelvin Dent of SOS. The Recipient was Christopher Woolfe, a Parliamentary Clerk in the Department who seems to have a role in co-ordinating the Departmental admin. A Minister or an MP would have been nice, but it was Friday afternoon! At least Mr Woolfe knew Sidmouth and had actually stayed here. Alan Darrant should receive a receipt in due course, as writer of the covering letter.
