EDDC’s Development Management Committee have today given the green light for a Veterinary Centre to be built on agricultural land next to Sidmouth Garden Centre. This sets an unfortunate precedent for ribbon development alongside the A3052, and yet more steady loss of the irreplaceable Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Very strange given that approval was not recommended and the reasons given for rejection the last two times an application has been made have not changed.
