EDDC Knowle offices…no need to relocate?

This is what the 1970’s offices look like today, set in the pleasant surroundings of the historic Knowle parkland. (See Getting to know the Knowle , April 25th 2013 post, on SOS website) . Local resident, Robin, Fuller, sent these comments, with the photos. knowle officers lt

We understand that copies have been sent to the press.

Knowle relocation will be discussed at the EDDC Cabinet meeting this Wednesday, 5.30pm at Knowle. A large public presence is anticipated. Journalists will also be on hand.

EDDC Leader, Paul Diviani, has invited  Knowle relocation ‘stakeholders’ , to a consultation meeting  fixed for two weeks after, rather than before, the Cabinet’s decision. The venue is surprisingly not the Knowle itself, but the Flybe office at Exeter Airport. Save Our Sidmouth, and the East Devon Alliance, are among those who have received an invitation.

Radio Devon are conducting interviews in Sidmouth tomorrow, on the relocation options, and their repercussions for the Sid Valley’s economy, and environment, and for taxpayers across the whole East Devon District.
