The new, more representative East Devon Business Group, replacing the old East Devon Business Forum, will be discussed. The EDBG  will be largely self-funding, and will be  independent of EDDC.  A new Chairman is currently being sought.

New Government guidelines for Councillor probity, especially regarding Planning, will be on the agenda. They were perhaps prompted by the Telegraph headlines of 11th March 2013, ‘Councillors for Hire’
