An appeal against removal of the Sidmouth Town Centre community noticeboard is now in progress. The decision will depend on representations received from the public. Here we go again – another flood alert for the Sid Valley. That makes twelve alerts since 21st October 2013, as shown in this latest chart: Flood Alerts Winter 13 14
Should this be a serious consideration, when EDDC envisages ‘compensating’ for a loss of almost 400 jobs at Knowle, with a proposed employment site (with hundreds of parking places), on a floodplain at Sidford?
Presumably, EDDC Cabinet will have this in mind when discussing the detail, and the worth, of the Knowle relocation costs, at their part B meeting on the evening of Wednesday 5th February?
