Pegasus Life’s latest revised plans for Knowle now submitted

A string of Pegasus Life’s revised plans and statements for the Knowle, have just been uploaded (10th Aug) to the EDDC Planning portal.
To view, go to https://planning.eastdevon.gov.uk/online-applications/, type in reference 16/0872/MFUL, and search Documents.

Have all the many issues*, not least size, scale and suitability of design, now been addressed?
For two examples of the latter, submitted yesterday, see Document 239415, pages 11-14, showing impact from the south park, and Document 2391414, pages 20-22, impact on upper Knowle Drive.

You can pick up a questionnaire form around town, at the library, the supermarkets (including Waitrose), and coffee shops. Or forms can be downloaded or completed online via the Sidmouth Town Council website dedicated Neighbourhood Plan page http://www.sidmouth.gov.uk/index.php/neighbourhood-plan ;  alternatively, do it via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NL6WTGR

Communities without a Neighbourhood Plan have no protection against speculative development. That’s why the new Sidmouth Town Council are doing one now. They’ll do the work, but YOUR participation is crucial.

Help shape Sid Valley’s future ….still time to complete Sidmouth Neighbourhood Plan questionnaire

Message just received by SOS, from Cllr Louise Cole, Deputy Chair of the Sid Valley Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group:

The initial Sid Valley Neighbourhood Plan questionnaire should be with everyone in the community by now, we are urging everyone to please take a few minutes to fill it out and then return to one of the collection points listed by the end of Monday 18th July.

The views of the community matter and will be analysed and fed into what will become a statutory planning document once the plan is made.

We know that members of the Sid Valley are passionate about the area and its future and want to see careful development that is needed. The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group can only reflect the views of Sid Valley residents if they let us know what is important to them.

Please help us to have a high response rate by investing a little of your time to return your questionnaire to us and by encouraging others in your networks to do the same by forwarding this email to them and by speaking directly with people to make sure they are aware of the Neighbourhood Plan project and its significance to the community.

If additional forms are needed they can be downloaded or completed online via the Sidmouth Town Council website dedicated Neighbourhood Plan page http://www.sidmouth.gov.uk/index.php/neighbourhood-plan
