“If Feniton fails…nowhere in the country will be safe”…including the Sid Valley.

As Saturday’s mass march at Feniton approaches, the media is showing much interest. Notably, Spotlight TV and Radio Devon are following the Super Inquiry now in progress, which will impact on the the future of all towns and villages threatened with rapid overdevelopment. Local MP Neil Parish will attend the march, which will be filmed by BBC’s Inside Out.

Sir Max Hastings sends his support to East Devon’s Mass Marchers

Save our Sidmouth (SOS) followers who agree with Sir Max’s statement given here, are urged to attend the Mass March at Feniton next Saturday morning, 11th January.
In a message sent to the organisers yesterday, Sir Max said:

‘Feniton’s campaign represents the struggle of us all for the rights of local communities to decide their own future, and for the English countryside’. Best wishes and good luck, Max Hastings

The Rt Hon Neil Parish, MP, will be present. Campaigners from across East Devon are expected to join the march, which will be filmed by BBC’s Inside Out team, and have wide media coverage.
