On morning agenda (starts 10 am):

• The demolition of Elizabeth Hall , Exmouth, and its  replacement with a Premier Inn (See What price Britain’s heritage (part 2) ?  31 May post at  http://sidmouthindependentnews.wordpress.com ) 
• Exmouth Littleham, development at land at  Plumb Park , ref. 13/0297/MOUT

On afternoon agenda (starts 2 pm):

• Extensive building on open land (see SIN post for 4th June, Green Wedge between Seaton and Colyford, to disappear?)
  
• Four Planning Applications in the Ottery St Mary Rural  Ward

At last night’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee at Knowle, Councillor Sheila Kerridge brought up the topic of the new National Park proposed for East Devon and Dorset (see http://sidmouthindependentnews.wordpress.com   ‘Powerful Marketing Opportunity for East Devon and Dorset’  posted on 5th June, with variety of comments left ).

EDDC Cabinet is not in favour, but Dorset is.

After discussion, it was unanimously agreed by the O &S Committee that it was something they would like to look further into.
